  • Job Description - Office Assistant

    Works under the direction of the Office Manager to manage the day-to-day administrative and financial aspects of the garage door service business; Strong computer skills with emphasis in Microsoft Office and computer accounting software; Organized, punctual, self motivated, strong problem solving skills and able to keep on-task without direction; Works as a team with the Office Manager and additional employees; Provides excellent customer service and client-facing communication via phone calls, email, mail, social media and face-to-face interaction.   Office Assistant Responsibilities Include: Creating and maintaining filing systems; Coordinating company personnel by maintaining an accurate event/job calendar; Scanning and filing past company paperwork; Maintaining a strong social media presence; Using QuickBooks and TSheets to keep accurate company records; Sort incoming mail and file accordingly; Create accurate reports as needed; Send out customer communications; Process debt collection according to policy; Receiving customer phone calls and other communications and attending to their Garage Door, billing and scheduling needs; and Basic upkeep of office appearance. (Responsibilities are not limited to the information above and will be determined on day-to-day needs of the Company.)
